hiya!
things are great in the world of reesey!  i am getting ready for my first birthday party this weekend!  mom is still in denial that i am already turning one, but she is still throwing me a lil' party with a few of my besties.  i just keep hearing that i get to try this thing called cake...if it is even close to as delicious as cheese i am in!
we had a lot of fun at the park last weekend...i am quite the lil dare devil and went down the big slide all by myself!  i don't really seem to be scared of much, and think the higher and faster the better!

11 months old!

hiya!

can you believe that i am eleven months old??  i sure am having lots and lots of fun!  i am walking ALL OVER the place now, and while it is super fun it has caused me to get my first black eye and my first scraped chin...but it is worth some bumps and bruises to be a mobile lady.

right now i love to sing 'old macDonald', dance to any and everything, give great big hugs and really wet kisses, and laugh whenever i realize someone is laughing at me.  i really hate wearing socks and shoes and find a way to get them off as soon as mom and dad turn their back!

grandma cathy, papa dave, and uncle joey came to visit this past weekend!  and it was so much fun to see them!  poor me though...nobody really paid me any attention :(

happy valentines day everyone!  mom made me some fun valentines day props and shirt, and we did a little photo shoot when we were snowed in over the weekend.  i was so intrigued with the props though that i didn't really want to look at the camera...oh well...i'm still super cute, right???

since i last wrote you...i have been having lots and lots and lots of fun.  my personality keeps coming out, and i think it is safe to say i am quite the lil ham!  i love to make my parents laugh...and then when i realize they are laughing at me i flash really big cheesy smiles (like you will see in the pictures below).
i love to babble all the time, and also love to read myself books.
my top two teeth have come through, and i am now taking steps all by myself!  BIG BIG changes as i close in on my first birthday.

10 months old!

hiya!
well i know it seems as though i JUST posted my nine month photos (and i am not pointing any fingers on the delay in uploading the pictures...ah-hem MOM!), but here are my ten month pictures!
this month has been super fun.  i have gotten very good at pulling up & standing & cruising around the coffee table.  i basically want to stand all the time now, and having my freedom means i am a really happy girl.  i am giggling and smiling almost all the time (except when i wipe out and hit my head...which is pretty frequently it seems).
i also got TWO teeth, and have two more on the top ready to poke through any day!  mom and dad can finally relax since they now know i will not be toothless forever.

my first christmas!

hiya!
well as you know...i got to experience my first christmas last month!  this meant another flight to ohio to see family, and i did amazing on both flights.  i am basically trying to tell my parents i am ready for something a little further and more exotic than ohio...maybe paris or fiji guys??  we shall see.
anyways...christmas was wonderful!  i loved opening presents and i actually sat in moms lap and paid attention to every present i got.  of course the paper and boxes are the best part...but everyone knows that.
thanks to everyone for my wonderful gifts and for spoiling me rotten (like i could EVER be rotten)!
i hope you all had a wonderful christmas and a very happy new year...may 2013 be the best year yet!

9 months old!

happy new year everyone...i think it is going to be a great year (it is my first full year in existence, so for me i am pretty sure it will be the best one EVER!).

i am sorry that my nine month post is so late...but i have been a busy busy girl!

the main highlights of the past month are: i learned to crawl right after thanksgiving and i started trying to pull up!  i am loving being more mobile and think my parents had better watch out because i plan to learn to walk really soon.

i also got to experience my first christmas and another plane trip...don't worry, ill be posting more details this weekend!  life is good in the world of reesey pie!

my first thanksgiving!

well since my last update i have become quite the lil world traveler!  i got to go on my first plane ride to ohio for thanksgiving (ok so maybe world traveler is stretching it, but hey to me anything outside of boston is a world away).  mom and dad kept saying they thought it would be really rough to fly with me, but boy did i prove them wrong!  i slept the entire way on the way there, and then on the way home i was awake the whole time but i was quite charming (if i must say so myself) and i made lots of new friends.
my first thanksgiving was so much fun.  i got to stay at grandma cathy and papa dave's house for a whole week.  i got to play with cocoa, go on a hayride, play with  my cousins, and be spoiled by all my grandparents.  a girl could get used to that!

happy 8 months to me!

today is a fun day...it is my 8 month birthday...and my uncle joey's birthday too (although he is a LOT older than me!).
i am getting ready for my first plane ride this weekend!  i am so excited to go back to ohio and get completely spoiled for a week (because nobody pays me much attention at home...poor me!).
life is great for this lil' girl...i am happy as can be and love to give my mama and dad endless smiles.  i am on the move and love to keep everyone on their toes...what did my parents do before me???  relax? HOW BORING!
