happy halloween!

hiya!
happy halloween everyone!  i hope you all had as much fun as i did.
during the week leading up to halloween i got to paint pumpkins AND we used my handprints to carve a super cute 'reesey inspired' pumpkin!  you know i am a girl who loves all things messy...however when mama opened that pumpkin the first time i couldn't believe what i saw in there!  i wanted nothing to do with that 'goo' in the beginning, but of course after mama and dada started digging in i couldn't resist...and i have to admit, i loved it!
i had everyone worried up til the VERY end that i wouldn't wear my costume (i wouldn't let them put it on me AT ALL leading up to the big day)….mwah hahaha!  sometimes it is fun to keep them guessing!  however, once i got to daycare and everyone told me how cute i looked in it, i had to oblige (for their sake, i could tell they really wanted to see me in it….i am selfless like that and like to please others)!
i got to walk in the daycare parade, go to the charlestown parade, and even trick-or-treat on the walk home!  i had so much fun picking out my candy from each bowl…i took those decisions serious and really studied all my options before committing!  i even managed to say 'thank you' as i walked away (most of the time at least).
i still held out on saying 'quack quack' (c'mon i wore the costume, what more do you expect???).
it was a super fun day and i was one pooped lil ducky by the end of it!

papa bill came to visit!

papa bill came to boston to visit me, and we had so much fun!  mama ended up having to go out of town, so it was just me and the boys!
we went to the park, danced, blew bubbles, watched mickey (of course!) and just had a great time!

wait until you see what my mama made for me!  she definitely smiled, laughed, & cried while putting this together...so many happy and unforgettable memories to look back on.

fall is here!

hiya!

well fall is officially here, and that means one thing...apple picking!!!!  we went a couple weekends ago, and we had perfect weather.  i had so much fun...i mean pretty much any activity that means i get to have endless snacks for the entire day sounds like a dream come true.
last year when we went i was only 6 months old, and i pretty much slept through a majority of it...but this year i was all in!  i helped pick both apples & pears, got to go on a hayride (on which i waved like i was miss america to anyone that was walking by), and i even got to see goats, pigs, sheep, bunnies, and lots of pumpkins.
it was the perfect start to fall!

last weekend we went and played in the sprinklers...and let me tell you, there are few things that can top that for me!  they make me squeal like a little girl...well isn't that fitting?!?  (get it, i AM a little girl...oh i crack myself up)

hiya!

we have been lucky here in boston to have had two picture perfect weather weekends in a row.  i mean absolutely gorgeous.  so mama, dada, and i have been out and about in our beautiful city even more than normal.

i can officially call myself a boston girl because on saturday we went down to the boston common and i  fell in love with the 'make way for ducklings' statue.  i am pretty sure it is a right of passage around here to be accepted, and lucky for me...initiation complete!  i don't know how you couldn't love it...i took the time to sit on each and every duck...and some of them two or three times.  then we got to see lots of real ducks and i was pretty much in heaven!  

i hope you enjoy the pics and that you all are enjoying the end of summer as much as we are.
