my first thanksgiving!

hiya!
well since my last update i have become quite the lil world traveler!  i got to go on my first plane ride to ohio for thanksgiving (ok so maybe world traveler is stretching it, but hey to me anything outside of boston is a world away).  mom and dad kept saying they thought it would be really rough to fly with me, but boy did i prove them wrong!  i slept the entire way on the way there, and then on the way home i was awake the whole time but i was quite charming (if i must say so myself) and i made lots of new friends.
my first thanksgiving was so much fun.  i got to stay at grandma cathy and papa dave's house for a whole week.  i got to play with cocoa, go on a hayride, play with  my cousins, and be spoiled by all my grandparents.  a girl could get used to that!

happy 8 months to me!

hiya!
today is a fun day...it is my 8 month birthday...and my uncle joey's birthday too (although he is a LOT older than me!).
i am getting ready for my first plane ride this weekend!  i am so excited to go back to ohio and get completely spoiled for a week (because nobody pays me much attention at home...poor me!).
life is great for this lil' girl...i am happy as can be and love to give my mama and dad endless smiles.  i am on the move and love to keep everyone on their toes...what did my parents do before me???  relax? HOW BORING!

happy halloween!  my first halloween was lots of fun.  i was a moo cow because moo sounds are my very favorite...and i must say i was pretty darn cute.   i got to start the day by being in a parade at daycare with all my friends (they called it a parade yet nobody really watched us except our parents...oh well more time with mom & dad is always fun) and then we went to the parade in charlestown tonight. i loved my costume and didn't try to pull it off at all.  can't wait til i am old enough to eat some of that delicious candy i saw everywhere.
this lil moo cow is beat, so good night all my friends.

7 months old

hiya!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!  i am officially 7 months old....but i like to think i am a woman wise beyond my months!

i am now saying 'da-da' and 'ba-ba' all the time...my teachers at daycare think i am going to be a public speaker because i pretty much babble all the time.  maybe by this time next month mom will be able to say 'ma-ma' is in my repertoire.
here are some pics that mom and dad took on my birthday.  i am getting really squirmy, which makes it really funny to watch them try to get good pics of me.  ohhh how i keep them on their toes!  good thing i am so darn cute and can get away with it.

so after i showed you the teaser video...here are the pics of our great, family day at the park!  as you will see...i mostly tried to eat everything i could and then i got to go on a super fun slide and swing ALL BY MYSELF!

this weekend mom, dad, and i spent the day on the farm (papa dave you would be proud :))...we went to a pumpkin patch and apple picking!  it was a lot of fun (but then again i took a nice long nap in the middle, so i can really only speak to half of it!).

i am trying to show mom and dad that i have this eating thing down!  i mean take a look...

* do you see the two handed spoon hold (safety first after all)?

* do you see how well i guide it right into my mouth (mom THINKS she is helping but i just want to let her down easy)?

* do you see how it takes mom WAY too long to get another bite ready (and dad is just holding the camera instead of helping me out!)?  i could've had four bites down in that time if i didn't have to wait!

i believe all of these points show that i should be allowed to feed myself...who agrees with me?!?

6 months old!  mom and dad can't believe it. . .but i am loving all my new tricks.  i can sit up all by myself, which is amazing because i can finally see all the fun stuff going on around me.  i am trying my hardest to push up to all fours from my belly. . .mom and dad better be ready because i am going to be crawling before long.
